Industrial sounding.

The melody is quite simple. It's not a bad thing, but... the drum line is too simple for that matter. Also, it does seem static as you say, and it doesn't distract as much as you probably think it would. There's actually a song from LoudCore called "Tortured Chamber" that's industrial. Look that up and give a listen, it's quite an awesome song to get inspiration from. :P Definitely a good try on this one though. Because I wouldn't know where to start with industrial. Just keep practicing! :D

Lol, I know that song, its on my iPod. Ive listened to it alot, but the only thing that frustrates me when using FL is not finding what sound im trying to get.

Ahh, yes, the bells. :D

Good start of the song. It's a bit catchy. Sounds go well with each other. Favorite part has to be around the middle. Sounds awesome. :) It seems like dance, but different from what I've heard. Nice work on it anyways!

AJUST responds:

Thanks d=]

Awesome fucked up loop! :P

This can turn into something great. Very industrial sounding. The funny thing is industrial is basically supposed to sound fucked up, so it gives that grindy weird shit in the song. Awesome work though! If you could work on this little loop, I know it would become epic! :D

DjRocALot responds:

hehe, yeah, since ive gotten some good reviews and people seem to like it, I will def work on this some more and make it into an entire song! and I might just make it even more industrial and panic like!

Thanks for review and score! :D

Roc A Lot

Shows industrial.

It's pretty good. I didn't really like the beginning melody as much, since most industrial I've heard has a crunchier beat. Once it gets torwards the middle it starts to heat up. I love the melody in the middle starting at 0:33. It's probably considered the softer side of industrial, but shows true to the genre. Good work though! And good luck on your vacation [if that's what it is]!

Pivvot responds:

Thanks for the comment! and yes it is a vacation.

Nice little tune.

I love the sounds, and the slow pacing of the song. Very simplistic in its own way. This reminds me of Golden Sun for the GBA. Haha! Yes... I owned one of those. And the bell noises sounds VERY much like the from the game. Nice work dude.

P.S. Where did you get the bell-type sounds? I would really love to fiddle around with them. Awesome sounds! :D

ShinyArmor responds:

i actually just used a pugin fl studio already has, its called Dx10
i dont know if its in yours but you gotta move the presets if you dont know what i mean tell me.

i never played golden sun,
but gba was a good system

thanks for the review, have fun

Wow!

That's quite impressive! Especially since you've only used the program[s] and/or software using a computer. I never even listen to this genre, but the song as a whole is so polished. You definitely have a singing voice. Which is great for your future songs. Great work, much kudos to you! :)

Cayler responds:

Thanks for the kudos. Polishing was the goal for my choice to remake my old songs. They were so amateur sounding that I just had fix them. Thanks for the compliment on my voice. :)

Nice work. :)

It's very relaxing. It's better than the other 2 I think. And plus it's longer. It could have used maybe one or two other instruments, but still stands good for what it used. What program(s) do you use? Because if you use FL Studio, I could help you with it. :D Keep those songs coming! I gotta get back into it myself, been away from it for a bit. Nice work on the song anyways. :)

TheMagnusEffect responds:

yeah, i actually use the demo of fl studio. so i cant save it and work on it later, its all in one shot...this one was 4 1/2 hours straight. i would love some help with fl, theres so much to it....ugghh. these three songs were working on figuring out how to change the sounds, so they dont sound so "generic", and like sample instruments and stuff.

thanks for the review btw...and yes, i agree its better than the other 2, this is my favorite of cobalt :D

Calm.

Reminds me of a small town full of peaceful innocent people... going about their
bartering, trading, and the chit chatter of the townsfolk. Small trees surround the town, and the fact is... no one really knows of this town. Above the town are the clouds... always being cloudy. Nothing too special going about, just a simple, peaceful small town with the nicest people you could ever meet.

ANYWAYS, nice tune. Would go well with an RPG. I didn't really picture it being very dark. I think because of the higher pitched synth in the background later in the song. Nice work on it though! :)

Shan83 responds:

oh, thank you for sharing your thoughts!!! :))
I like to know what does people picture when listening to music!!..
I like your description...its a good alternative ...yes...a peaceful town...
I didn't considered that at first..now I do...and I enjoy that!!
cool review, thank you my friend!!

Sweet. :D

A great track bud! It reminds me of the game X-treme G. It even reminds me of the game Perfect Dark. :) I love the sounds used in this. Sounds very futuristic. Nothin really to complain about here. I love how it builds up so smoothly while maintaining the main melody. There's no cluttering at all, too. Gonna be adding this to Favorites. :) Keep up the good work!

Psy-nigma responds:

Thanks for listening and favoriting!

The game is starting to take shape I test played it the other day and my music was fitting in perfectly to the wipeout stylized game.

Has hover cars on all these huge tracks that go through futuristic structures in expansive environments its pretty cool.

Does loop. :)

It loops rather well... but in that smooth kind of way. It's a good start for a song. What I think is that the whistling was a little too high pitched though. I think if it was at a lower volume, it would depict more of an emotional feel. And the piano plucking is too strong. Maybe if it had a softer pluck... it'd be less distracting. Overall... it's good for a loop. Maybe you could make it into some sort of song. :D

TheMagnusEffect responds:

i would have to agree with the plucking being to strong. it originally was a flamenco guitar, but i modified it a little, and i'm just learning my program, so i guess i need to figure out the volume thing too
