Catchy tune.

It's a catchy tune after the first segment. There's the bubbly parts that come in that ruin it. The end was probably the best sounding. Simple, but not too bad. Not sure what kind of feedback I could give since I don't really work around techno myself. Just keep practicing is all!

Spartanblu responds:

Thanks i really appreciate it!

Engaging. :)

I love the bells and effects. Quite unique! I love how the melodies are smooth to the transition to each other. It kinda gives me a sense of "Kirby" for some reason, haha. Anyways, it a Favorite of mine now. I think the only gripe is when it's around the middle of the song... the really high pitched clicks are a bit in the way, but I do notice that you used the volume fade on those sounds. Great work definitely tho! :D

Psy-nigma responds:

thank you for your review its been a while since i have heard from you.

It was really fun working on this track since I kept wanting to make it more intense and dramatic but realized it had to much of its own ambience that worked for itself to make it into a more traditional track.

Nice work.

I like it dude. Long time since I saw you around! Check out some of my stuff, although they're mostly demos. Some sounds do sound grindy, like the drums towards the end. I really like the synth towards the middle until the end. Overall, good job! :)

Deathadder99 responds:

nice to see u again :). The drums are a bit grindy as wehn i export everthing becomes distorted for some reason :( tying to get it fixed before i upload next song ,as it definitely ruins it:)

Nice and calm.

Unusual rhythm, but I like it. Does give a sense of a dark Winter night for me. It is a short tune as you say, but you could really build this into something very nice. :D Definitely the "pluck" sound is awesome. Keep it up!

Nitrocore responds:

Thanks for your review, I came up with the rhythm part on an acoustic guitar, and it translated quite well I think, i'll probly come back to it one day and see if I can build on it and see what happens :)

Mellow, but smooth. :)

It's fantastic. Something that people could listen to while sitting on a beach just staring out into the ocean sea. Kind of like "Nature's" song in a way. I kidna get the image of revolving around Earth's landscapes... coming from the cold north and south of the planet, into the molten lava of the death valleys. And what's best is the title of the song. It really shows what this image is! I'm liking the high pitched-to-low pitched string noise going on. Definitely brings out some deep insight of the song. Of course the piano is one of my favorites from you. :) You've got a niche for that. Because, it's different styles through out the song you do with that instrument, while maintaining the main rhythm. :D I think this song really brings out your motivation from Reasoner in a way. My only complaint is something that should be redone. Basically, because it'll make this a masterpiece. It's gotta be the cymbal or crash you have. It sounds a bit too realistic compared to the other sounds. If you could change that to sound more digital or whatever... that'd be pretty sweet! :D Otherwise, kick-ass song! It could be a song for an ending as well! Sounds very emotional, like a sad way a movie ends, but the people keep their heads up and moving on. Ya know? Anyways, keep at it! Improvement is always there, and it shows from your first song to the latest creation.

P.S. I'm actually reworking my old song called "Vibrant Mountains". Apparently, I don't have the file anymore to work with it, so I'm remaking it by ear, with some new twists and changing some things. I'll let you know when I'm gonna release it. :) Keep a look out for it sometime this week! Or maybe even tomorrow! :D

Bru2712 responds:

Yeah I think that's the song that better fits for the "Wich of your song are more inspirated by Reasoner?" haha I cannot find any better crash for it so... I guess it will just be a nice song lol dude you wont believe me, I started like 4 diferents songs, one after the other because I couldnt make it sound good, and now I got a song list waiting for me to finish them xD lol I hope everyone.
Thanks for your review =D

Simple, but different.

I like how it's kinda calm. The beginning melody is good [although more instruments could be involved... like a hi-hat and some bells. About 20 or so seconds into the song, it kinda of changes the melody a bit too much... almost like straying, but has some points in the song keeping that melody. If there was a smoother transition of other instruments added, it'd be better. Although, this can have good potential... especially with the melody. Anyways, nice work on your first tune. And just keep practicing!

Check out some of my tunes for inspiration! :D

Nitrocore responds:

Thanks for your review, I appreciate your comments and iv'e taken them into account.

Decent melody.

First thing... there isn't really any reverb encounters through the song. Usually reverb will add more depth to it, which makes it seem to fill up the silent gaps. What I do think is the melody is pretty decent. Seems original to me, haven't heard anywhere else. I think instead of relying on the claps mostly... to add some snares in place of some points, but keeping the same rhythm. Also... a deep bass drum with a good amount of reverb would be pretty slick. Yes, it's very repetitive, but you say so yourself in the commentary. Overall, it's a decent start for a song. If you could work on it again, that'd be awesome. :)

Check out my stuff if it gives off some inspiration. :D

Organl responds:

Thanks man. i'll take a look at your stuff later today. I totally agree with you. Gonna work on it sometime and upload it again.

Wow... very much impressed! :)

I can honestly say, this has to be the best I've ever heard from you. Wow... just wow. the sounds are pure, and sweet to hear. I really like how you start the beat off really into it. The effects with the sounds are awesome, too. Not much of a Trance junkie myself, but I personally like how you use your own style with Trance. :D A long song as well! But I like it because it mixes up through out the song. My favorite part has the be around 4 minute mark... because it really shows your little Drum -n- Bass style at that part. :) Very much liked my man! I'm very shocked to say the truth. It actually put a smile on my face. :D Because... it's amazing how far you've come. Love it all the way!

P.S. I haven't been making music too much as of late. I don't have much time to devote to finding out the filters and effects on FL Studio... but, this gives me a lot of motivation to try at it even more. Good luck to you other future songs! :P

Bru2712 responds:

Well, yeah, there's a little lot of me in this trance song xD, the 4 min mark was because I tought the beat was the same all the song and I should do something, then I mixed that, it's like everything goes by the luck because a lot of things in this song were accidentally made, for example that part, because I had planed to use the Free Filter at 100% when it starts but I dont know how that exactly happened, it just came out with a progression lol.

About that: "P.S. I haven't been making music too much as of late. I don't have much time to devote to finding out the filters and effects on FL Studio... but, this gives me a lot of motivation to try at it even more. Good luck to you other future songs! :P"
If you dont have the time for finding the filters, just touch! :D and listen to some of the flp files that comes with fl studio ^^.

Nice sounds. :D

Unique melody. I love the main bell noise you have. And great use of the "portamento" feature. :P It kinda gets a little strange towards the middle, but still keeps it going with a similar beat. I like the ending though... doesn't end to abrupt, but slowly does it. Nice work! Isn't my favorite of yours, but still worth listening to over and over. :)

DjUntold responds:

Thank you sire knight :)

Yes, videogame-y! :)

I love the sounds and melody especially! You've got a very creative imagination. It's got a unique twist and isn't really a basic beat either. I like that bell noise you had towards the middle. Another favorites add! :D Nice work! And definitely sounds nice with the 8-bit "sounds".

NKAT responds:

Crimson thanksX86 = Thanks a lot. That bell is Metroid NES version sounding I think. TY again.
